Maracudja

This is a little gift I brought back from Guadeloupe.
it's a secret Guadeloupian alcohol recipe called "maracoujda"

this is an experiment too
to see if you can get it image-wise

please make this
please yourself

I know some of you are abstaining for the moment
as am I
but abstinence is not fun
(as you should have figured out by now)

of special note is the fact that the fruit here is passion fruit
and the sugar is unrefined
the rum can be any rum, as long as you have a fancy bottle to put it in later
(as demonstrated)

The correct Guadeloupean name for the rhum drink made with passion fruit is "punch maracudja". We make rhum punches with many other tropical fruits.

that's weird, Mr. Punch Police.
it's like saying "I drive a honda car"
it's maracudja
the punch is too obvious to be included in the name
