the mystery note
So a few weeks back, I asked people to vote on what I should write on a note to be left on a stranger's car.
Overwhelmingly, the winner was;
My pal Nathan and I went out and put the note on an unfamiliar Honda.
We had so much fun, that we decided to do the same to my boss' M5.
(as a side note, I found out later that my boss was actually quite freaked out, not because of the note, but because he thought he had a ticket).
Overwhelmingly, the winner was;
"I'm sorry but I had to leave my mother in your trunk, I'll be back later to get her".

so is that your actual signature? and did you stick around for reactions?
this is brilliant! no one does happenings like that anymore! happenings were by far the coolest aspect of modern art. when you're in paris, hit me and my art collective up. we'll storm the city. keep it up!
wow, that's genius. i love it. i think i'll borrow the idea but to spread good feelings. it would be nice to find a note that says, "you look beautiful today"
No, Patricia, it's not my real signature.
You're right though, it looks like it because (stupidly) I started so sign with my own signature, but then thought -- what am I doing? and changed it to RLB instead of my usual RLS.
And no, I didn’t wait around for him.
I think that I’ll try and get reaction photos for round 2, if I do it again.
