it ain't my damn fault

I was walking to school a few days ago
and absent-mindedly listening in on the conversation a girl was having on her cell phone in front of me.
we were walking through the parking lot, through a tunnel, a wooden arch, past a fountain, and through a big open square (you may now have guessed where we were) and the sound of her voice reverberated beautifully off of all of these things, as she was having the most terrible conversation.

I wanted to save it forever, because it was the perfect moment.
so I recorded it.

listen.

Rob and I just listened to this. You must be at sac city, I hear a conversation like that everytime I go there.

This is amazing, both in terms of the sound and the context. Money worries, money worries.

My favorite overheard Sac City conversation featured a giant, powerful-looking man pleading into the phone in a tearful voice, "Tito! TEEEE TOOOOO! Why you keep makin' me your bitch, Tito! No! Tito! No! You make me your bitch every time I give you money, Tito. You might as well be fucking me in my goddamn muthafuckin' ass Tito! You might as well come in my house at night and fuck me in my ass in my sleep, Tito!"

I remember the insane reptition of the name Tito was the most mind-blowing part.
